Supracontrol Enterprise is the premium web application that is used for centralized monitoring and control all your Supracontrol devices remotely, in one place.
In order to fully understand and utilize Supracontrol Enterprise capabilities, a couple of terms need to be clarified: Controller, Peripherals, Status and Location.
Controllers are multi-functional IP network devices.
In online mode, they serve as a proxy between Peripherals and Supracontrol Enterprise - logging and sending Peripheral data, enabling management of Peripherals such as locks and relay outputs, etc.
In offline mode, Controllers have a built-in web server and SMTP client and can manage Peripherals without being connected to Supracontrol Enterprise.
Peripherals are all the devices, inputs, outputs, sensors, locks, card readers etc., that are either connected to Controllers or an integral part of them (e.g. TH100 Controller has an integrated temperature & humidity sensor).
There are 4 Peripheral statuses:
Enabled - device is reachable and fully operational, it logs data, executes rules and sends notifications
Silent - device is reachable and operational, it logs data and executes rules but does not send notifications
Disabled - device is reachable but all its functionalities are turned off.
Unplugged - device is unreachable
There are 2 Controller statuses:
Online - device is reachable by Supracontrol Enterprise
Offline - device is unreachable by Supracontrol Enterprise
Locations are logical units that help you organize your devices within the Supracontrol system.
Besides identifying physical locations of devices, they make it possible for new devices to inherit all the attributes assigned to a certain Location.
