Peripheral devices are all devices connected to the controller and send to him information about operating conditions. Peripheral devices of the Supracontrol system are BUS sensors (temperature, humidity, flood rope,smoke), card readers, electric lock, magnetic door detectors. Settings of the BUS sensors are described in article BUS sensor settings while in this article will be described others peripheral devices.
CARD READER SETTINGS
Name - input field for the card reader's name. Default name of the card reader is "Reader" while maximum number of the character is 16.
Location - drop down menu to select card reader's location
Reader protocol - drop down menu to select communication protocol. User can select two types of protocol, RS485 and Wiegand. Selected protocol must be compatible with communication protocol of the connected reader.
Output format - drop down menu to select card reader's output format. User can select between Supracontrol format and others standard industrial formats.
Reader position - drop down menu to select card reader's position. Position depends if the card reader's authorization is Entry or Exit.
Save - saving all settings. Settings became actual when all settings are saved
ELECTRIC LOCK SETTINGS
Name - input field to select electric lock's name. Default name of the electric lock is "Lock" while maximum number of the characters is 16.
Location - drop down menu to select electric lock's location
Lock type - drop down menu to select electric lock's type. User can choose between Fail safe and Fail secure type.
Fail safe - electric lock's type that unlock when power supply is turned off
Fail safe - electric lock's type that unlock when power supply is turned on
NOTE:
Default electric lock's type is Fail safe.
Lock voltage - drop down menu to select electric lock's voltage. User can choose between 12V and 24V direct current. Default voltage is 12V
Unlock time - Input for duration the unlocked state for the electric lock. The maximum time is 255 seconds
Unsecured mode - switching on unprotected mode. When an unprotected mode is turned on system will not compare users access rights
Enable lock monitoring - switching on surveillance of the electric lock's state
Save - saving all settings. Settings became actual when all settings are saved
DOOR DETECTOR SETTINGS
Name - input field to select electric lock's name. Default name of the electric lock is "Lock" while maximum number of the characters is 16.
Location - drop down menu to select electric lock's location
Contact - possible to select between NO - Normally open or NC - Normally closed contact state. This option allows to adapt alarm's logic with output signal for door detector. Correct logic for output contact can be find in manufacture manual.
Save - saving all settings. Settings became actual when all settings are saved
